LET IT GO. . At the All-American Rejects concert t LET IT GO.
.
At the All-American Rejects concert this past weekend, I had the privilege of watching Newfound Glory open for them.
.
The guitarist in the band shared his story of battling a rare and debilitating bone cancer, yet there he was, rocking out from a chair on stage…he even managed to stand up for some of the performance.
.
Incredible.
.
This one message he shared that I think we all need to be reminded of daily is this,
.
LET IT GO.
.
Whatever you’re worrying about…
.
Does it matter as much as you think it does.
.
If a friend told you about the same worry would you think it was as big a deal?
.
His message and story reminded me how precious today is.
.
You don’t know what tomorrow brings.
.
Let go of the BS occupying your mind and zapping your energy.
.
And use that freed up energy to shine your brightest.
.
Your loved ones need you at your best.
.
Drop a ❤️ below if this was what you needed today.
One powerful, three-letter word… . Has the poten One powerful, three-letter word…
.
Has the potential to drastically alter your mindset…
.
From a state of victimhood, frustration, and hopelessness,
.
To one of excitement, hope, and empowerment.
.
That word is “yet.”
.
When you notice yourself frustrated about where you are in relation to your goals, add the word “yet” to the end of your sentence.
.
For example…
.
👉 I haven’t reached my weight-loss goal…YET
👉 I haven’t saved x amount of money…YET
👉 I haven’t found my dream partner…YET
.
Your word choice matters.
.
Be mindful.

At some point, you’re going to have to look into At some point, you’re going to have to look into the mirror and admit that it is YOU.
.
YOU are the problem.
.
And that’s okay.
.
Because you’re also the solution.
.
👉 SWIPE RIGHT for a powerful reminder from women just like you.

What if you just did it once… . The right way. . What if you just did it once…
.
The right way.
.
Patiently.
.
Intentionally.
.
With “sustainable” top of mind every step of the way.
.
Surrounded by a coach and community for added accountability and support.
.
Then, and only then, would you not have to do it 2-3x per year for the next 10+ years.
.
‼️I’m talking about dieting.
.
Aren’t you sick of diet hopping?
.
Fed up with losing and regaining the same 15-20+ pounds over and over.
.
Over feeling guilty and anxious about food choices?
.
Yeah.
.
I thought so.
.
Take a step back and consider these two facts 👇
.
1️⃣ The more often you diet and time spent dieting the harder attaining sustainable results becomes.
.
2️⃣ An opportunity exists to achieve food freedom, self-love, confidence, and a body you’re proud of and love much sooner than you think with the RIGHT approach.
.
👇 I invite you to share this message with someone who needs to hear it by tagging them below.
.
DM me “unstuck” if you’re seriously ready to ditch the excuses and get out of your own way so that you can feel, look, and be your best self.
HOW IT IS v. HOW IT SHOULD BE. . You’ve been con HOW IT IS v. HOW IT SHOULD BE.
.
You’ve been conditioned to believe that you should always be dieting, or, at least thinking about being leaner, sexier, and stronger.
.
This leads to you always thinking about food.
.
And feeling tempted to eat less and move more to continue trying to fit the unrealistic body expectations that Hollywood and social media have planted in your mind #nofilter.
.
If you take a patient, planned approach to sustainable weight loss, you’ll put yourself in a position to spend 99% of your life NOT dieting.
.
However, your current approach has all but guaranteed you’ll spend 99% of your life dieting…
.
This means constantly thinking about food - letting what and when to eat dictate your decisions and actions; thus, robbing you of the joys of life and beauty of being present in a given moment.
.
When you’re always in a diet mindset, you’re constantly thinking about food, nitpicking areas of your body you dislike or deem ugly, and continue to self-sabotage any weight-loss efforts because underneath it all there’s a lack of feeling you’re worthy or able to achieve the feeling and physique you desire.
.
SLOW DOWN.
.
Do the necessary work to rebuild a foundation of healthy eating habits that is unique, simple, and flexible (one that doesn’t force you to be married to MyFitnessPal).
.
Take the time to build your relationship with yourself (which influences your relationship with food); practice speaking kindly to yourself, loving yourself, and picking yourself up; believe in yourself.
.
You deserve all that you desire.
.
Then, set a realistic weight-loss goal of 0.5 - 1.0% of your bodyweight per week.
Diet for 8 - 10 weeks, then spend at least the same amount of time NOT dieting (and EATING MORE) before dieting again (if you even feel like it).
.
It’s that simple.
.
Not easy.
.
DM me “unstuck” if you’re seriously ready to ditch the excuses and get out of your own way so that you can feel, look, and be your best self.
Where I stand on quick-fix approaches to fat loss Where I stand on quick-fix approaches to fat loss (including weight-loss drugs)…
.
I’m against rapid fat-loss hacks because the overnight fat-loss journey never provides the true result you’re craving.
.
Yes, you may want (or even need) to lose body fat for health reasons, but underneath the scale number you claim to seek, what you really desire is
.
to feel confident, proud, sexy, strong, healthy, energetic, and happy.
.
Going through a process rich in challenges is essential to truly cultivating these feelings.
.
And this process takes time.
.
In fact, the longer it takes, and the more challenging the journey, the more rewarding, fulfilling, and lasting the results…
.
Taking a pill, injecting yourself with X, or cutting out all carbs for 30 days isn’t going to bring you what you desire more than for a brief moment (if you’re lucky to even get that).
.
It is the journey and process of learning how to put yourself first and follow through on the promises you make to yourself that serves as the catalyst for the growth and actualization you need to struggle,
.
so that you can develop the skills, belief, and confidence in yourself to reach your potential and step into the next best version of yourself.
.
Weight loss drugs do not give you that opportunity to do so.
.
Crash diets don’t give you the chance to do so.
.
Losing body fat (and keeping it off) necessitate consistent emotional and psychological growth, which can only be achieved through challenge, introspection, mistakes, action, persistence, and commitment.
.
You need these challenges to cultivate self-awareness, self-trust, self-confidence, and a healthy relationship with food.
.
Embrace the journey.
.
Find presence in the pursuit.
.
And remember there are a million-and-one different ways to see and experience progress outside the number on the scale.
.
The struggle is always worth it.
.
You’re worth it.
.
